{"id":16719,"date":"2020-09-19T11:00:43","date_gmt":"2020-09-19T06:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/?p=16719"},"modified":"2020-09-19T11:00:43","modified_gmt":"2020-09-19T06:00:43","slug":"hamas-discusses-palestinian-cause-with-resistance-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/archives\/16719","title":{"rendered":"Hamas discusses Palestinian cause with resistance group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ANKARA<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"icerikDiv_44422700\">\n<p>The political chief of Palestinian group Hamas on Friday discussed how to confront the problems facing the Palestinian cause with a delegation from another resistance group.<\/p>\n<p>Ismail Haniyeh met with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine\u00a0 delegation, led by Secretary-General Abu Nidal Al-Ashqar, in the Lebanese capital Beirut, according to a statement by Hamas.<\/p>\n<p>The parties stressed the necessity of developing a common vision to counter the Zionist project which has been receiving unprecedented support from the US, the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, the two sides also condemned the recent normalization of ties with Israel by the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain amid American mediation.<\/p>\n<p>The sides called for resistance against all conspiracies against the Palestinian cause, including the\u00a0 so-called &#8220;deal of the century&#8221; and Israel&#8217;s plan to annex one-third of the lands in the occupied West Bank.<\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 15, the UAE and Bahrain signed US-sponsored agreements to establish diplomatic relations with Israel.<\/p>\n<p>The Palestinian Authority and resistance factions have denounced the agreements, saying they did not serve the Palestinian cause and ignore the rights of Palestinians.<\/p>\n<p>Haniyeh has been in Beirut for more than 15 days to hold talks with Palestinian refugees and Lebanese authorities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ANKARA The political chief of Palestinian group Hamas on Friday discussed how to confront the problems facing the Palestinian cause with a delegation from another resistance group.
