{"id":15192,"date":"2020-06-16T13:51:44","date_gmt":"2020-06-16T08:51:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/?p=15192"},"modified":"2020-06-16T13:51:44","modified_gmt":"2020-06-16T08:51:44","slug":"american-muslims-urge-reform-to-end-police-brutality","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/archives\/15192","title":{"rendered":"American Muslims urge reform to end police brutality"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ANKARA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dozens of American Muslim organizations joined Monday to the demands for changing policing practices in the US, after death of George Floyd under police custody last month.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The victimization of unarmed Black Muslims has a long and troubling history,&#8221; said Muslim Advocates, a national civil rights organization, in a joint statement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today, we are committing to take action in support of Black-led organizations on the front lines of this work.
