{"id":12215,"date":"2019-11-28T10:41:02","date_gmt":"2019-11-28T05:41:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/?p=12215"},"modified":"2019-11-28T10:41:02","modified_gmt":"2019-11-28T05:41:02","slug":"canada-man-arrested-for-throwing-faeces-at-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/archives\/12215","title":{"rendered":"Canada Man Arrested for Throwing Faeces at People"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Toronto man has been arrested for throwing liquefied human waste on\u00a0 \u00a0people in apparently random attacks on university campuses and a downtown street in Canada&#8217;s \u00a0largest city.<\/p>\n<p>The man is accused of throwing\u00a0a bucket of liquefied fecal matter at passersby in three separate incidents that took place between Friday afternoon and\u00a0late Monday night in Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the man was charged with five counts of assault with a weapon and five counts of mischief interfering with property.<\/p>\n<p>It started on Nov 22, according to the police, when he allegedly emptied a bucket of liquified faeces over a mother and child seated at a library in University of Toronto campus.<\/p>\n<p>Again, on Nov 25,\u00a0 a woman and a man, in separate incidents,\u00a0 in the area of College and McCaul streets (also in the University of Toronto area) got the same horrific surprise.<\/p>\n<p>He also emptied a bucket of human waste on a woman on a downtown Toronto street.<\/p>\n<p>Toronto Police released security footage of the suspect \u2014 a man in a hat, carrying a bucket \u2014 and an arrest was made on Nov. 26.<\/p>\n<div id=\"mod-subbuzz-text-1\" class=\"subbuzz subbuzz-text xs-mb4 xs-relative \" data-module=\"subbuzz-text\">\n<p>Toronto mayor John Tory thanked the police for their quick response.&#8221;I hope this arrest will help calm concern on campuses and across the city,&#8221; he said in a tweet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"mod-tweet-1\" class=\"subbuzz subbuzz-tweet xs-mb4\" data-module=\"tweet\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"clearfix js-ad-placement ad-inline \">\n<div class=\"ad-wireframe-wrapper ad-wireframe-wrapper--labeled ad-wireframe-wrapper--hidden\" data-wireframe-width=\"728\" data-wireframe-height=\"250\">\n<div id=\"BF_WIDGET_211-1\" class=\"xs-relative ad-ex ad-promo-inline ad-ex--inline js-ad js-ad-211-1 ad-flexible\" role=\"complementary\" data-module=\"ad-promo-inline\" aria-label=\"Advertisement\" data-instance-id=\"6\">\n<div id=\"bf-item-211-1-1\">\n<p class=\"xs-mb1 xs-text-6 xs-text-center text-gray-lightest caps ad__disclosure--ex\">According to the\u00a0 local media, spokesperson for the Toronto Police, Victor Kwong, said that despite the victims of the attacks being all Asians, they do not have a reason to believe the attacks were racially motivated.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Toronto man has been arrested for throwing liquefied human waste on\u00a0 \u00a0people in apparently random attacks on university campuses and a downtown street in Canada&#8217;s \u00a0largest city.
