{"id":11341,"date":"2019-11-01T10:49:10","date_gmt":"2019-11-01T05:49:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/?p=11341"},"modified":"2019-11-01T10:49:10","modified_gmt":"2019-11-01T05:49:10","slug":"brazil-wildfires-blaze-advances-across-pantanal-wetlands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/archives\/11341","title":{"rendered":"Brazil Wildfires: Blaze Advances Across Pantanal Wetlands"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"media-caption__text\">The wetlands are a single of the most biodiverse regions in the entire world. <\/span>A 50 kilometre-long (31 mile) wildfire is advancing across Brazil&#8217;s Pantanal wetlands.<\/p>\n<p>The governor\u2019s office in the point out of Mato Grosso do Sul said the fire was \u201clarger than something seen ahead of\u201d in the area.<\/p>\n<p>At least 50,000 hectares of vegetation have already been ruined.<\/p>\n<p>The area, located in the southern section of the state, is just one of the most biodiverse areas in the globe and a well-known vacationer location.<\/p>\n<p>The fire began on 25 October and is said to be advancing rapidly due to the combination of high tempratures and gusty winds.<\/p>\n<p>The governor&#8217;s office said in a statement that the situation was &#8220;critical&#8221;. It also warned that visibility in the area is poor.
