Two Years after migration from Myanmar, the\u00a0 Rohingyas\u00a0 are trapped\u00a0 in the world’s largest refugee camp in Bangladesh,<\/p>\n
The government of Bangladesh \u00a0has recently put severe restrictions on Rohingya \u00a0refugees from Myanmar.<\/p>\n
Many have had their mobile phones taken away by police and security officers.<\/p>\n
Fatima\u00a0 lives with her six children\u00a0 in a\u00a0 camp where she feels lonely and isolated as she is unable to contact\u00a0 with\u00a0 family and friends due to recent restrictions on the usage of mobile phone.<\/p>\n
The right group says that communication restrictions\u00a0 put nearly 1 million refugees\u00a0 at serious risk\u00a0 in emergencies ..<\/p>\n
It points that the international\u00a0 government on civil and political rights is explicit on\u00a0 \u00a0right of freedom of expressions for every person , including displaced people.<\/p>\n
There is also an increase in security personals\u00a0 \u00a0in the camps which heighten\u00a0 the refugee’s anxieties and making them nervous<\/p>\n
Further,\u00a0 Rohingya children have been forced to drop out of Bangladeshi schools and colleges and the threat of relocating thousands of refugees to an isolated island reflects a tougher stand taken by the Bangladeshi government.<\/p>\n
Rohingya people have been demanding proper security and citizenship before complying with the repatriation process.<\/p>\n
Bangladesh and Myanmar signed in August an agreement to facilitate the repatriation of Rohingya refugees over the next two years.<\/p>\n
However, the two planned repatriation arrangements came to halt after Rohingya refugees were unwilling to return to Myanmar, citing security issues in Rakhine State.<\/p>\n
