The previous record of 22\u00b0 was set all the way back in 1946. Late Thursday, the Mile High City set a record low with a temperature of 13\u00b0.<\/p>\n<p>Denver also just experienced the second largest 2-day temperature drop on record when temps went from 83\u00b0 on Wednesday afternoon to 9\u00b0 on Friday morning, according to a meteorologist.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile,\u00a0 The National Guard and other emergency resources were put on alert Friday in North Dakota amid a crippling snowstorm that is bringing high winds and drifting snow to parts of the Northern Plains.<\/p>\n<p>The storm has pummeled several states.
