The injured have been admitted to Hamidia Hospital in state capital Bhopal.<\/p>\n<p>According to the eyewitnesses, the driver of the bus, carrying 45 people from Chhatarpur from Bhopal, lost control over the vehicle due to a pothole.<\/p>\n<p>Police and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have been carrying out rescue operation for the past eight hours as many people are reportedly missing after the accident, said police.<\/p>\n<p>Raisen district collector Uma Shankar Bhargava said\u00a0 the bus was probably speeding and fell off the bridge after breaking its side-wall as the driver lost control.<\/p>\n<p>However, \u00a0he has ordered an inquiry into the accident<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At least eight people\u00a0 killed and twenty other injured when a private bus fell into a flooded river near Raisen in Madhya Pradesh state of India.
