Custodian of the Holy Mosques issues SOP’s

SOP's strictly followed during obligatory prayers.

The administration of the Holy Mosque in Saudi Arabia has said that in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the administration has issued new SOPs during the obligatory prayers at the Grand Mosque.

The administration instructed the worshipers to wear face masks during obligatory prayers in Masjid Haram, to check the temperature before entering the Masjid, to bring a separate prayer rug with them, and to clean their hands with a sanitizer when entering the Masjid.

Food or drinks are not allowed to bring into the Holy mosque. Instructions to keep social distance during prayers in Masjid Haram, to ensure that instructions are followed for exit time frame and to stand in reserved places for prayers in the mosque and to bring the Holy Quran for recitation in the mosque or to recite on mobile phone.
