Pakistan Successfully carries out Night Training Launch of Ghaznavi Missile

Pakistan  on Wednesday successfully carried out night training launch of surface to surface ballistic missile Ghaznavi, said Major General Asif Ghafoor, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) .

The ballistic missile is capable of delivering multiple types of warheads up to 290km, the military’s media spokesperson wrote on Twitter.

Addressing the troops in the exercise area, the CJCSC Khalid Shameem Wynne,  commended the troops on displaying a high standard of proficiency in handling and operating the state of the art weapon system.

President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan conveyed their appreciation to the participating ASFC troops, the scientists and the engineers on their outstanding success, and congratulated the nation on the feat.
