Apple Partners with Malala Fund For Girls Education

LONDON: An agreement was signed on Monday between the world’s youngest noble prize winner, Malala Yousufzai’s organization “Malala Fund” and Apple CEO Tim Cook to help extend education funding programs in India and Latin America.

During the meeting in Beirut, Malala Fund and Tech Company Apple agreed to set up education centres across developing countries. Where Apple will provide resources and funds in order to provide educational opportunities to girls in developing countries.

“My dream is for every girl to choose her own future,” Malala Yousafzai tweeted.

She further added “through both their innovations and philanthropy, Apple has helped educate and empower people around the world. I am grateful that Apple knows the value of investing in girls and is joining Malala Fund in the fight to ensure all girls can learn and lead without fear.”
CEO Apple Tim Cook stated that “We believe that education is a great equalizing force, and we share the Malala Fund’s commitment to giving every girl an opportunity to go to school,”.
He added that Malala is a courageous advocate of equality. He added that she’s one of the most inspiring figures of our time, and we are honoured to help her extend the important work she is doing to empower girls around the world.
