Air in Indian Capital Unfit for Human Consumption

ISLAMABAD Citizens of the Indian Capital New Delhi are breathing unhealthy air unfit for human consumption, a HUM News report reveals. The report is compiled based on data gathered from the international air quality index.

The Air Pollution Index testing points are strategically placed across Delhi including one at the United States Embassy in New Delhi. The situation is very alarming not only for the citizens of Delhi but also for the thousands of visitors.

Other testing points include; Siri Fort, R.K Puram, Dwarka, ITO New Delhi, Anand Vihar, IHBAS, Mandir Marg, Shadipur, and DTU New Delhi. Among these, only Mandir Marg area reports a lower grade of air pollution at 251 AQI score.

The index weighs the quality of air on the basis of its quality for human consumption.
