Four Soldiers Killed in Indian Forces’ Firing on LoC

RAWALPINDI: Four Pakistani soldiers were killed as a result of Indian firing on the Line of Control (LoC).

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that Indian forces have repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement on LoC.

Indian forces opened fire on Jandroot and Kotli areas of LoC resulting in the killing of 4 Pakistani soldiers.

ISPR statement said Pakistan Army retaliated strongly to the provocations of the Indian Army and killed 3 Indian army personnel.

Repeated violations

India habitually opens unprovoked firing across the LoC which has resulted in the killing of army officials, soldiers and civilians.

Three Pakistani soldiers were martyred on December 25 last year as the result of Indian firing in Rakhchikri sector.

The foreign office stated that India committed 1,900 ceasefire violations in 2017.
