New Zealand Humiliate Pakistan, Win Series

DUNEDIN – Pakistan suffered another humiliating defeat against New Zealand by 183 runs in the third ODI of the five-match series at University Oval, Dunedin on Saturday.

Pakistan skipper won the toss and opted to bowl first.

The decision was well-supported by his bowlers as New Zealand were bowled out for 256 in final over. Pace bowler Rumman Raees and Hassan Ali took three wickets each, while Shadab Khan removed two Kiwi batsmen.

Green Shirts did look smart in the field and finished with a flourish taking seven wickets for 48 in the last eight overs.

Pakistan took a disastrous start, giving away top three wickets inside 10 runs. The team could never recover from the damage Trent Boult had created.
Got bundled out for just 74 in 28 overs, their third lowest total in ODIs. New Zealand takes an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.

The fourth match of the five-match series will be played on January 16 in Hamilton.
