New York: New York City Mayor Eric Adams held a grand Iftar-Dinner in honor of New York’s Muslim Community.

The Iftar-Dinner reception was held in Manhattan, New York, that was graced by the Council Generals of different Muslim countries in New York, religious scholars, and a large number of Muslims through their participation.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community.

Eric Adams met with scholars and members of the Muslim community on this occasion.

Eric Adams said that Ramadan gives us an opportunity to understand that there are thousands of people who go without food every day. They keep fast. They survive without the basic necessities of life including drinking water to please The God Almighty.
