New York: Pakistani-Origin US-based Wattoo Family head Aslam Wattoo has passed away in Lahore, the Capital of Punjab Province, after a brief ailment.
As per family sources, Aslam’s body was paralyzed and undergoing medical treatment at a private hospital (Doctor Hospital) in Lahore.
However, he could not recover, and breathed his last on Wednesday, leaving behind loved ones including family, friends, and relatives to mourn his death.
His body will be transported to the native village on the outskirts of Jaranwala District in Punjab.
Aslam will be laid to rest in a local graveyard of Jaranwala on Thursday, December 29, amid tears and mourning.
The Pakistani-Americans have expressed their deep sorrow over the sad demise of Aslam Wattoo and extended condolence to his loved ones including his daughter Shazia Wattoo, Son Shehbaz Wattoo, Asif Wattoo and Son-in-law Karim Wattoo.
