Mega Pakistan Day Parade held in New Jersey

Colours of Pakistan's history and culture were prominent in the mega event, held in connection with the independence day of Pakistan

New Jersey: In connection with the 75th Independence celebration of Pakistan, the biggest Pakistan Day Parade was held in New Jersey U.S this year as well, with the national zest and fervour.

The Colours of Pakistan’s history and culture were prominent in the mega event.

The grand parade began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the Naat Khwani.

A press conference was also held, and a rally was also organized in which participants on motorcycles and vehicles attended in great numbers, while floats were also the centre of attention on this occasion.

In the parade, the youths dressed as Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Ms. Fatima Jinnah were also the centre of attention.

While the parade committee members Sam Khan, Dr Zubair, Mateen Abbas, Salman Malik and Kamran Khan played an active role in the success of the event that was attended by thousands of participants. They took pictures with the artists who performed dance dressed in traditional attire.

Various traditional items and food stalls were also part of the parade, where ladies and gentlemen shopped enthusiastically.

American officials also participated in the Pakistan Day Parade in New Jersey. They not only congratulated the Pakistanis but also appreciated the patriotism of the Pakistanis.

The women members of the parade committee also cut the Independence Day cake.

 

Prominent social activist Sam Khan said that young generation of the Pakistani community should become a practical part of the administrative affairs of the United States.

Naeem Abbas Rufi mingled with the event participants and sang the song Ae Watan Pak Watan, and other songs.

Dressed in Pakistani clothes and holding the national flags of both Pakistan and America in their hands, a large number of people including women and children participated in the Pakistan Day Parade in New Jersey.

The attendees kept chanting slogans in favour of Pakistan and Pakistan’s Independence Day all the time.
