
New York: Pakistani community members in New York city offered their heartfelt condolences to the business and social figure Chaudhry Tanveer on the demise of his brother and also expressed their grief and sorrow on the sad demise.
They attended the Quran recitation, and Fateha Khwani which was organized at Noor Masjid on Long Island in New York to reward the late Captain (retd.) Chaudhry Qadeer who passed away at the age of 49 in Islamabad, Pakistan recently.
A large number of Pakistani community gathered for Quran recitation and Fatiha.
Dr. Ijaz Ahmed, Chairman, American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee (APPAC) was blessed with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
After the recitation, the gift of Naat was also presented.
On this occasion, Chaudhry Tanveer while talking to the participants said that brothers are everyone’s companions and loved ones.
It is very difficult to bear the grief of their separation, he added. He also thanked everyone in the community who supported us during this difficult time. Leading religious scholar Maulana Taswarul Hassan Gilani prayed for the reward of Chaudhry Qadeer.
