PML-N organized the event to celebrate the 24th anniversary of Youm-e-Takbeer at a local restaurant in Coney Island, New York. The program began with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran and Naat-e-Mubarakah.
The Chief Guest of the night, PML-N Leader Senator Nihal Hashmi thanked organizers for this auspicious ceremony in his telephonic address from Karachi. He said that trying to make Pakistan a nuclear power is not so easy; it is not a matter of a few years but a long journey.
Ahmed Jan, President of PML-N New York, said that by the grace of God Almighty, our leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, despite all threats and pressure, on May 28, 1989, detonated six nuclear warheads in Pakistan as a result of five Indian nuclear blasts, made it the seventh nuclear power in the world and the first in the Islamic world.
Addressing the event, other PML-N leaders said that Youm-e-Takbir is a day of Pride for the Pakistanis. This day will always live on as a symbol of our security, defense, and national pride. They said that no one dares to cast an evil eye because of Pakistan’s nuclear power.
At the end of the ceremony, cke was also cut to celebrate the 24th anniversary of Youm-e-Takbeer.
