Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Ayesha Ali, said
it is a matter of pride for Pakistani-American community to recruited Pakistani women in the NYPD.
Together with PALS we will try to solve various community problems. She is attending the fifth annual iftar dinner organizes by Pakistani-American Law Enforcement Society (PALS) to Encourage and bridge the gap between the NYPD and Pakistani-American Community.
New York Council General Ayesha Ali also appreciates the services of PALS President Rohail Khalid for their services rendered to the community.
Prominent figures of NYPD, PALS and the Pakistani-American community attended the Dinner at Coney Island Avenue in New York. The participants said that it is praiseworthy to gather at one place for Iftar dinner and it should be continue in forth future.PALS event coordinator Ehtesham Khan, said this Iftar dinner provides us a chance to gather at one place under one roof and it is good to have an Iftar dinner together once a year.
New York Police Chaplain of the Muslim Community Imam Tahir, briefed the participants on Islam and Ramadan and said during Ramadan, a person can easily get rid of bad habits.
PALS officials thanked the distinguished guests for attending the annual Iftar dinner.
