Unification campaign launch for the Juna-Gardh state held at Hicksville.

Special Assistant to the Junagadh State, Syed Alimdar Shah hope full for the success of "State's" freedom .

The Nawab of Junagarh Jahangir Khan-ji instructs to launch a unification campaign in the United States for the Juna-Gardh state into Pakistan. Event held at Hicksville, New York. Special Assistant to the Junagadh State, Syed Alamdar Shah, administered the event and introduced two US Republican candidates for Congress John Lehman and Aga Khan to the participants and welcomed them.

Republican candidates John Lehman said that every citizen’s rights and opinion must be respected,

While, Aga Khan said that, “we live in US but our heart beats with Pakistan”.

The event was also attended by a large number of community business and social personalities, including Pakistan’s political officials.

A prominent business and social figure of the Pakistani community, Bashir Qamar, and Col. (retd) Maqbool Malik said in their speeches that Junagadh was an independent and sovereign state before 1947 and the state ruled by Muslims for more than two hundred years. Col. Maqbool Malik added that Pakistan fully supports the freedom movement of Junagarh.

Caroline Norin said that

Indian occupation of Junagarh is illegal.

The message of Nawab of Junagarh Muhammad Jahangir Khanji was also read to the participants.

The Pakistani community singer Saima Kashif sang a melodious national songs and audience praises. Syed Alimdar Shah thanked all the guests for attending the event and said that the campaign of Junagadh merger into Pakistan would be a success.
