Commerce Business Summit and Women Entrepreneur Awards held in New York.

US-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries hosted the event.


The Commerce Business Summit and the Women Entrepreneur Awards held at a hotel in Queens, New York. A large number of young men and women belong to Bangladeshi community attended the event. Bangladeshi artists evoked the magic of their performances.While, addressing the gathering, Assemblyman David Weprin, Assemblywoman Jennifer Raj Kumar said that men and women of the South Asian community have a passion for moving forward and doing something unique.The women attending the ceremony were awarded in recognition of their services. The award-winning women shared their experiences with the audience and said that if opportunities provides to women, they could proof themselves in every field. While, speaking on the occasion, M.D. Layton Ahmed, Founder and President of US Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries, said that the purpose of the event was to encourage Bangladeshi businesswomen. They need a platform through which they can connect with the American community.
