The murder case of Shahid Nawaz in Germany was resolved and convicted sentenced life imprisonment. According to the prosecution, murderer Shahid Nawaz belonged to Punjab province, Gujrat district of Pakistan. He was the imam of Pakistani, Al-Madinah mosque in Germany.
The prosecution has said, that on 21st day of December, 2020, Shahid Nawaz’s brother Danish Munir along with his German-born sister-in-law took the victim for a walk in the suburbs of Ebersbach. While, the convicted Danish Munir took the opportunity and killed his brother Shahid Nawaz by striking with a hammer several times on head.
Police conduct various legal and professional methods of investigation and also interrogated the victim’s brother Danish and his wife.
Twelve witnesses filmed their statements during the trials, including leaders of the Pakistani community, members of the mosque committee and passersby. The local court of Stuttgart area, Alem, regularly hears the case on every Friday.
This Friday the case verdict was announced after investigation, all the evidence, proofs and arguments were completed. In the presence of prosecution and accused lawyers, court sentenced life imprisonment to both the accused Danish Munir and Shahid Nawaz’s wife.
