The accused, who was allegedly tortured yesterday an elderly worshiper Muhammad Azam at Makki Mosque, was identified and caught by community members while he was standing on Coney Island Avenue and handed over to the police.
According to the previous record of accused, he was identified as Zeeshan Ahmed and has already been imprisoned in various cases.
According to reports, the mental health of accused is not right.
Few months ago incident took place of breaking the glass of mosque main door located on Cortelio Road. The same person is also suspected in this event.
