A meet and greet dinner hosted by social and business figures of Pakistani community in honor of Republican-nominated District Attorney Suffolk County Long Island nominee Ray Terney and current Huntington Town Deputy Supervisor Ed Smith. Candidates are now contest for supervisor. For the first time in history of US local elections, large number of Pakistani-American supported the Republican candidates.Large numbers of Pakistani-American belongs to Long Island participated in Meat & Great. Both the candidates assured to solve all problems.
Meet and greet dinner was organized by Nadeem Wameq and Tanveer Chaudhry, well known personalities in the Pakistani community. Organizers wished the success to both the candidates and thanked the guests.
On the occasion, business and social personalities also expressed their best wishes to the candidates and hope that after the success elected supervisor work for the betterment of Pakistani community.
Participants said that development of the Pakistani community in US is due to concrete contribution in elections at all levels.
