New York businessmen and senior journalists attended a reception in honor of a senior anchorperson from Pakistani media Dr. Danish, at Chaudhry Tanveer’s residence at Long Island area of New York.
Journalists asked questions from Dr. Danish about media situation and government policies after PTI government came to power in Pakistan.
According to Dr. Danish that PTI government came into the power, the country is suffering from constitutional, administrative and political crisis while government policies also left country alone at the diplomatic level.
Dr. Danish further added that it is not possible for any new government to put the country on the path of fast development track. But at the very least, efforts and steps must be taken to ensure that country’s economic situation does not more worsen.
The meeting was very pleasant. US based Journalists also expressed their views on the current situation in Pakistan.
