Defense Day celebrations held at Pakistan Embassy in Saudi capital Riyadh, with the participation of military officers from different countries, Islamic Military Alliance Commander General (retd) Raheel Sharif, Pakistan Ambassador Lieutenant General (retd) Bilal Akbar.Military Attaché Brigadier Raja Haroon, accompanied by Ambassador welcomed the guests, including military Attaché and military officers stationed at foreign embassies.Ceremony held at Chancery Hall of the Embassy, foreign guests congratulated Pakistani authorities on September 6, 1965 for the bravery and courage of the Pakistan Army.While address on the occasion, Pakistan Ambassador, recalling the September War, and said that Pakistani forces had defeated and repell the enemy much stronger way and protected the borders of the homeland. Pakistani nation remembers the martyr’s sacrifices and pays tribute to them.
