The embassy of Pakistan in Germany celebrated 75th independence day with the community like rest of the world.
A grand ceremony was held at Pakistan House. Due to absence of Dr. Faisal, Ambassador of Pakistan, acting Sarah Ijaz hoisted the flag.
The messages of President and Prime Minister of Pakistan regarding the country facing the challenges for decades were read out at the ceremony.
On the occasion of Independence Day Ambassador Dr. Faisal congratulated Pakistanis living in Pakistan and around the world in a video message and send good wishes for peace and security of the country.
The event also showcased the cultural heritage of Pakistan to promote tourism in Pakistan. The event was attended by a large number of embassy staff, their families and members of the Pakistani-German community.
