The newly elected Democratic councilor, Ari Kagan, won the primary mayoral election from Brooklyn’s District 47, Ari met with Pakistani community in his constituency and thanked community for their support and vote in the election.
The meeting was also attended by APNA Chairman Pervez Siddique, Shazia Wattoo, Erum Hanif and others.
On the occasion, Pervez Siddiqui said that the number of Pakistani community in US is definitely less than other immigrants, but their importance in the election is increasing.
During meeting, community and Ari Kagan discuss various community issues, Councilman Ari Kagan said that wheather election is for local or at the national level, the vote of every individual and every community matters.
The community reminded Ari Kagan of his manifesto and plans for the welfare of the community in the election campaign.
The head of APNA community Pervez Siddiqui, said that he hoped that the success of Ari Kagan would fulfill all the promises.
