Friends of Kashmir and Kashmir Movement Germany declare August 5 as Black Day to protest Indian government’s revocation of Kashmir’s special status and demographic change of the region.

Fateha and collective prayers for the Kashmiri martyrs were also organized all over Germany. Friends of Kashmir Berlin chapter announce protest on August 5 at the European Center on the main highway in Berlin.

Meanwhile, Tehreek-e-Kashmir has announced Black Day celebrations across Germany and protests at the Indian Consulate.

Leaders of Friends of Kashmir, Berlin and Tehreek-e-Kashmir Germany appeal for full participation to Pakistani and Kashmiri community.

On August 5, the Modi government announced the end of Kashmir’s special status by promoting a resettlement plan for Hindus in Kashmir and imposed an unannounced curfew, banning all media including social networks, which are still continuing.
