Pakistani-American Community of Long Island (PACOLI) founder Bashir Qamar hosted a Meet and Greet at his residence. New York assembly man Philip Ramos joined as chief guest. Director PACOLI Ayaz Sadiq began the event with recitation of Quran.
Bashir Qamar presented a flower bouquet on the arrival of Philip Ramos, while talking to Meet & Greet attendees Philip Ramos said that “Everyone has right to live with liberty and to be protected”.
Terrorism against Muslims is strongly condemnable. The Muslim community must speak up for their rights and protection, he added.
Ramos further said that, It is duty of government to take immediate steps to protect Muslim.
Founder Bashir Qamar and President Jamal Mohsin, Asim Malik, General Secretary Humayun Sheikh, Senior Vice President Azra Daar, Vice President Atiq Qadri appreciated the efforts of Philip Ramos for the New York-based Muslim and especially Pakistani community.
“We truly praise Philip Ramos because he is the only politician who is loyal to the Muslim community”, they added.
PACOLI comptroller Salman Sheikh, Director Ijaz Ahmed, Tahira Sharif, Madiha and other members were also present at the occasion.
