A man and a woman tried to break into the Islamic Institute of Toronto in the Scarborough area of the Canadian capital, Toronto, and people immediately reported it to the police.
According to the local media, eyewitnesses said that a man and a woman in the Oscar Borough area also tried to break into the mosque and threatened to plant explosives, prompting police to be called.
According to Police, they received a complaint from the Islamic Institute around 12 noon local time, in which men and women were reportedly forced into the mosque and threatened. Both men and women tried to enter the mosque were arrested while no weapons or explosives were recovered from them. There are the possibilities that both the suspects were intoxicated.
