Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said in a press conference in NYC that the situation in Palestine and Occupied Kashmir is similar. If a solution to the Palestinian and the Kashmir issue is not found, lasting peace will not be available.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that ceasefire between Israel and Hamas is a positive initiative but not enough. No one has a magic wand; we have to move towards a lasting solution. If the Palestinian and Kashmir issue were not resolved, lasting peace would not be possible. He added.
The Foreign Minister once again offered India to come on table talks. Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Imran Khan is not a trader, he will not deal with Kashmir, our position on Kashmir is unequivocal, and we will talk respectfully.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi made it clear that he wanted to live in peace with his neighbor but we have issues, we want to resolve them through dialogue. He further added that the Muslim Ummah has good relations with all countries and Pakistan was not going to any camp.
