Pakistani Consulate hosts dinner in honor of F.M. Shah Mehmood Qureshi
Pakistan has now gone beyond apologetic diplomacy, F.M.

The dinner was held in honor Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi by Pakistani Consulate. The dinner was also attended by Pakistani Ambassador Dr. Asad Majeed, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Munir Akram and Consul General New York Ayesha Ali. Pakistani community attending the dinner on the occasion and welcomed this Foreign Minister’s meeting.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the United States needs Pakistan to withdraw troops from Afghanistan. Pakistan’s role will be essential for the future of Afghanistan
While addressing the dinner, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, talking to the community members, said that the mission has just achieved initial success in the Palestine cause and together with the United Nations, Israel will be closely monitored. So that Israel does not again barbarize the innocent Palestinian people.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi also said that the US has changed very positively about Pakistan and Pakistan has now gone beyond apologetic diplomacy.
Earlier, the FM briefed the community that he had beneficial meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and had virtual talks with US Senator Lindsay Graham and more than a dozen members of US Congress.
FM further added that in his meeting with the UN Secretary General, he also discussed the issue of Occupied Kashmir. The Secretary-General assured that all steps were being taken with regard to Kashmir to put pressure on the Indian Government to restore basic human rights.
