Muslims organizations held Friday prayers in front of the Israeli mission’s office and demonstrates against Israeli oppression.
The demonstration was attended by a large number of members of various Muslim organizations including American Council of Minority Women, Bronx Community Council, American Pakistani Advocacy Group-(APAG), ICNA Council for Social Justice, Muslim American Society and offered Friday prayers in congregation in front of the Israeli mission office.
The demonstrators wore Palestinian flag printed masks and held various banners in support of the Palestinian peoples.
On the demonstration, the leaders of Muslim organizations strongly condemned Israel’s air and ground attacks on Palestine, saying that Israel’s barbaric attacks on the Gaza Strip show that Israel wants Palestinians genocide and ethnic cleansing.
The demonstrators called on the international community to speak out against the Israeli attack on Palestine and to meet the demands of justice. The protesters later dispersed peacefully
