Pakistani-American Advocacy Group-APAG organizes Iftar dinner and Eid gift distribution for the needy outside the Queens borough office.
The event was also attended by members of the APAG team, volunteers and other members of the community, including Borough President Donovan Richards.
APAG distributed Iftar boxes to the participants and Eid gifts to the children.
Speaking to Voice of South Asia, Donovan Richards, President of Queens borough, said that he has always found the Pakistani American community happy.
After the distribution of Iftar boxes and gifts, APAG President Ali Rashid said America is like a bouquet of flowers decorated with different nationalities and in this bouquet the Pakistani community is a unique flower.
The event fully embraced social distance to prevent corona virus. APAG and the community vowed to continue to play their part in keeping everyone united.
