EU President hinted to allow US citizens.

EU President Ursula von der Leyen has hinted that US citizens who have been vaccinated against coronavirus this summer will be allowed to travel. She said all 27 countries in the bloc would allow vaccinators approved by European drug regulators to enter without any hesitation.

Although she did not give a specific start date for the travel, she said all three vaccines used in the US have been approved by the European Medicines Agency. Europe has banned unnecessary travel for more than a year. Earlier this month, the European Union approved the issuance of vaccination pass or vaccination certificates for travel to make it easier for people who have been vaccinated to recover from the infection and show negative results.

“We expect to have enough vaccines by mid-July to develop immunity in the bloc’s adults,” said the head of the EU’s vaccine task force.
