The American-Pakistani Public Affairs Committee has announced its full support for New York’s Comptroller Scott Stringer as mayoral candidate.
Dr. Ijaz Ahmed, Chairman, APPAC-American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee, an important and representative organization of the Pakistani American community, led a zoom meeting with Scott Stinger.
The zoom meeting was attended by APPAC board members and key figures from the Pakistani American community.
In the Zoom meeting, Scott Stinger thanked the board members of APPAC and the community, including Dr. Ijaz Ahmed, for their support in the election.
According to Scott Stinger that support of an important and representative organization of the Pakistani American community like “APPAC” is of great importance to him.
Scott Stinger outlined key aspects of his campaign and assured the community that he would live up to the expectations of the people once elected mayor and lead New York City in difficult times of pandemic.
