Mountains and oases covered in white sheet after snowfall in Hail City and Asir Region.

Heavy snowfall has caused floods in several parts of Saudi Arabia.

Snowfall in Saudi Arabia’s Hail region has covered the plains with a white sheet, while Saudi Arabia’s largest volcano, Bahra Bani Rashid, has also been covered by snow.

Large numbers of Saudis and foreigners are flocking to the snow-covered areas to enjoy the snowfall over a wide area.

In addition, heavy rains in the Asir region inundated low-lying areas and valleys, causing flooding. People were facing difficulties due to flood waters.

According to the National Meteorological Center of Saudi Arabia, heavy thunderstorms are expected in several areas including Jizan, Asir, Al-Baha and Makkah Mukarramah.
