Net Cost USA proclaims free grocery for NYC underprivileged during Ramadan.

New York City,

US supermarket chain, Net Cost, in collaboration with Pakistani American Youth Society (PAYS) and Helping Hand Brighton Beach, has announced the distribution of free groceries for New York-based underprivileged Muslims during the month of Ramadan.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Pakistani-American organizations in Brooklyn, the comptroller of Net Cost said he wanted to spend Ramadan with the Muslim community.

It has been decided to distribute free necessities to underprivileged Muslims for 30 days of Ramadan. New York residents will be able to get free groceries from Muslim mosques and PAYS offices.

The press conference was also attended by President of PAYS, Kashif Hussain, Imam of Hand Brighton Beach Mosque Omar Usman, City Council candidate Steven Peters, Steven Saperstein and others thanked Net Cost. The Pakistani community has welcomed the initiative of Net Cost, PAYS and Helping Hand Brighton Beach.
