Muslim community members vaccinated on Saturday against COVID-19 at Hamza Mosque.

The Hamza Mosque, located in the Valley Stream area of ​​Long Island, has announced that on Saturday, March 27, members of the Muslim community over the age of 50 will be vaccinated. The mosque administration has reserved 200 vaccine slots for vaccination against COVID-19.

Hamza Mosque is the first mosque in New York to launch coronavirus vaccination for such a large community. According to administration of the mosque, those who want to be vaccinated must compulsory registered. The location of the vaccination will be sent in e-mail reply.

The purpose of the vaccination is to protect the Muslim community from the virus so that they can worship in mosques in the coming month of Ramadan without fear or danger mosque administration, added.
