A simple and dignified Pakistan Day celebration at the Embassy in Washington DC

The Embassy in Washington, D.C. hosted a simple and commemorative event on the occasion of Pakistan Day, in which Ambassador of Pakistan Dr. Asad Majeed Khan, US Senator Chris Lane, Congressman Tom Suzy, Congressman Sheila Jackson delivered a special address and appreciated the services of Pakistani Americans.

Pakistan Dr. Ismail Khan hoisted the national flag and said in his special address that on March 23, 1940, the journey of freedom and self-determination began under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal and other leaders. There tireless efforts led to the emergence of Pakistan and hinted at an improvement in Pakistan’s relations.

The current government of Pakistan has also created a safe and friendly investment system for Pakistanis living in the US, which is proving to be very useful for business community. Pakistan’s coronavirus prevention measures were praised all around the world.
