Britain and China are embroiled in another political and diplomatic dispute that could escalate in coming days and leads to a series of accusations in the media.

While political and diplomatic pressure has also increased, the British regulator Ofcom has canceled the license of China’s state-run media outlet CGTN, after which the British broadcaster BBC faced severe pressure from Chinese authorities. Tensions between Britain and China have risen since China’s crackdown on Hong Kong.

The UK’s e-regulatory body, OfCom, has revoked CGTN’s license, prompting the Chinese Foreign Ministry to accuse the BBC of spreading fake news about the corona virus and demanding apologize

China retaliates by saying BBC has tried to politicize Corona pandemic outbreak. The BBC says its news is transparent and unbiased.
