Attack on Quetta Police DSP, Two Guards Killed

QUETTA: At least two policemen were killed in an attack on the vehicle of Deputy Superintendent of Police Pakistan province Balochistan’s capital city Quetta. 

This happened on Wednesday morning when unidentified gunmen opened fire on the police vehicle when it was passing through Samungli Road.

DSP Hameedullah Dasti and his guards were in the vehicle during the attack. The DSP remained unhurt but two police officials accompanying him were killed in the attack.

Police and FC personnel rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.

They launched a search operation to arrest the attackers. The bodies and injured were moved to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment.
