Funeral prayers were offered for mother of Pakistan American Youth Organization President (PAYO) Wakeel Ahmed. She was later buried in a New Jersey cemetery.
Nasira Begum, died at a local New York hospital day before yesterday after a long illness.
Funeral prayers were offered at Makki Mosque in Brooklyn with strictly followed social distance. A large number of family and Pakistani community attended funeral prayers.
Body of Wakeel Ahmed’s mother was later taken to a New Jersey cemetery, where she was buried with sighs and sobs. Pakistani community offered condolences to Wakil Ahmed on dismissal of his mother and also prayed for her forgiveness.
