DUBAI: Dubai Authorities have closed down the case of legendary Bollywood actress Sridevi’s accidental death by drowning in her own bathtub.
After the closure of the case, the Dubai public prosecutor’s office has decided to release the body of Indian actress Sridevi to her family today (Tuesday) after the investigation into the incident was concluded and the case closed,” read a tweet by the Dubai police.
Following the completion of post-mortem analysis, #DubaiPolice today stated that the death of Indian actress #Sridevi occurred due to drowning in her hotel apartment’s bathtub following loss of consciousness.

Indian reports say the body has been dispatched from Dubai and will arrive in India late on Tuesday.
