
Podgorica: An unknown attacker threw explosion into the US embassy’s compound in the capital Podgorica.
The blast happened at around midnight. The attacker killed himself after the attack, the government said.
Local media reported a Serbian-born local resident is behind this blast. But there is no official word yet
The government said the device thrown was likely a hand grenade. No other injuries have been reported.
The US embassy said all staff were safe following the incident. No-one has said what the motive could be.
