Sri Lanka, who has been dominant with the bat throughout the tour, continued their form. With Kusal Mendis (70) and Gunathilaka (42), Sri Lanka posted a huge total of 210/4 in 20 overs.
It was Sri Lanka’s highest total against Bangladesh and fifth highest overall.
Tamim Iqbal fell prey to debutant Amila Aponso’s, giving him maiden international wicket. Bangladesh were 59 for 4.
Mahmudullah fought with 41 off 31 balls and added 42 for the sixth wicket with Mohammad Saifuddin.
The end, however, was swift for Bangladesh: they lost their last five wickets 25 runs to be bowled out in 18.4 overs to be bowled out on just 135.
