The body of Javed Iqbal, a Bangladeshi-American living in the US state of New Jersey, has been recovered from the sea six days after he reportedly drowned in the Ocean City Beach.
Javed Iqbal, a 23-year-old Bangladeshi-American from New Jersey, went on a tour of Ocean City Beach along with his family. The deceased jumped into the ocean on course to save two other children that were left floundering along the merciless waves of summer ocean.
Javed Iqbal heroically saved the children but found himself helpless to the cruel pull of the ocean, therefore drowning in the sea. Rescue agencies recovered Javed Iqbal’s body after six days of continuous search efforts and handed it over to his family. His family is exhausted with grief as the neighbourhood mourns for the loss of a great man.
Funeral prayers were offered in New Jersey for the late Javed Iqbal, followed by his burial that was carried out in the New York cemetery in the presence of family, loved ones and community members.
