Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to Ease Up Business Visa Policy

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia pledged new policies during the 11th Pak-Saudi Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC). The session started on Tuesday brought together the two ministries to discuss various issues of economic importance.

During the session business, visa procedure was brought into the discussion and both countries agree that the process should be revamped. A revised reciprocal visa fee is sought along with ease in the procedure.

Saudi Arabian Secretary for Foreign Trade Abdul Rehman bin Ahmad sought tangible conclusion through the JMC. He also stated that Saudi Arabia especially Riyadh provides great investment opportunities.

The council also agreed that the Saudi-Pak Business Council will also promote trade and investment between the two countries. The Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) was also discussed during the session.
